The regular meeting of February the 13th started cordially as usual @ The Dukes in Heath & Reach with the early arrivals drinking coffee & chatting until breakfast was served by the resident Chef Nigel.
We welcomed Jeff a local PR & media guru who was substituting for Steve Leverton, & it was nice to welcome back Peter Corbett who was substituting for Philip Harrison.
After breakfast the meeting commenced with Josh Munt of The Insurance Desk giving his first 10-minute presentation which emphasised the importance of using an Insurance Broker to source your General Insurance policies.
The members & guests then gave their 1-minute business presentations.
This was followed by a fascinating educational slot which was given by Peter Corbett talking about Bee’s, why they swarm & how the hive creates a new Queen.
We then passed our referrals or gave testimonials before moving on to any other business & confirming next week’s speakers.
The meeting closed at 8.30 and members were either then stayed to conduct individual meetings or headed off to appointments or back to their offices.
