The meeting of the 28th started with the usual open networking followed by the usually high standard Barrington breakfast.
Steve Baker (IFA) gave the 5 minute education slot and talked about how to prepare your business as we emerge from the credit crunch, covering a wide range of subjects such as strengths, weaknesses, revenue objectives, USP’s. This was then reinforced by a range of sales & marketing ideas.
Matt Willson gave us a quick reminder how the smallest changes can help in search engine optimisation, using a bulk topsoil supplier as an example.
Each member then gave a 1 minute business presentation, which was followed by a 10 minute presentation by Lisa Mason of Nat West Bank giving an over view of her new role within the property portfoio development team.
The meeting was closed as usual after referrals & testimonials were passed, and areas of general interest were discussed.
