the first breakfast meeting of the year was the AGM, so the first normal meeting is the 10th of January

a small  but vibrant group enjoyed the usual good quality breakfast at the Dukes followed by a 10 minute presentation from Keith Rawlings, who explained the principles of structural engineering in an accessible and easy to understand way – with some pretty pictures of a lovely house in nearby Buckinghamshire

Martin Addrison then gave a 5 minute presentation on crime and sentencing – of general public interest in light of the release of the “black cab rapist” – John Worboys which had recently been announced

the main reason for the meeting is of course business referrals – and there were about 5 passed between members of the group

and then we all left at 8.30 prompt to earn a living !
