The Schizophrenic Entrepeneur

With a near full house after the summer holidays, this week had Dave Masterson (Tax Assist Accountants) spend 5 minutes talking about the different roles assumed by an entrepreneur (as all self-employed people are). Typically these are Entrpeneur, Manager and Technician. Often we spend too long in one role, when the health of the business requires time to be spent elsewhere – for example too long doing the work, and not long enough marketing for the future.

Dave was followed by individual members’ 1 minute summaries of what they do, and what type of referral they are seeing.

And finally Wayne Howard, a Utility Warehouse representative, took us through the benefits of taking utility services through UW and what you could expect to earn as a representative yourself.

With referrals down a little as people get their heads back into work, we turned our minds to organising our upcoming Visitor Days, with more on this to follow.
