Despite half-term turn-out was good this morning – many people braving the frankly awful weather. The ten minute talk by Francis Tresham (our Board Game designer) was illuminating. Francis spoke about the importance of colour in product design and how this had developed since the advent of bright dyes in the 50’s – if you have ever wondered why life seemed drab before then you were right, it was. Simon Kennedy gave a surprisingly familiar 5 minute presentation on a useful tool for analysing any situation – Kipling’s Six Wise Men (google it if you do not know what this is). The meeting finished with a number of referrals and testimonials around the room – as ever there was a real willingness to help each other.
