After the usual excellent Dukes breakfast the meeting opened with a sad notice of the passing of a former member.

We also welcomed our newest member Dave Gordon of A Plan Insurance.

The meeting then commenced in earnest with a presentation from Keith Rawlings nicely refreshed after his recent holiday.

Keith educated us on catenary structures, which was a revelation to me.

We then wet around the room with each member giving their 1-minute presentations.

We then had an excellent educational presentation from another former member Martin Addrison who was standing in for his Son Daniel.

Martin spoke about a subject which is close to my heart, that being cycles and their origins and development.

We then finished off with any other business which included an update about our Christmas dinner, which is being admirably organised by Steve Leverton.

We announced next weeks scheduled speakers then headed off to our various appointments or back to our offices.
